2025 Ballon d'Or Female Winners

Women's Ballon d'Or: Aitana Bonmatí. Scores a hat trick off the pitch with her third women's Ballon d'Or in a row! She has become the first woman to achieve this. The first women's Ballon d'Or was given in 2018, although the men's award was first awarded in 1956. A total of 7 awards have been given, due to no award in 2020 because of the pandemic. Barcelona players have won 5 of the 7 awards presented.  Women's club of the year: Arsenal win this award after winning the Women's Champions League for the second time and finishing second in the Women's Super League. Women's Blind Football

Unfortunately, women's blind football won't be played in the Paralympics. But you can still watch the men's blind football tournament starting on the 1st of September at 10:30. There are also other women's blind football tournaments such as The Women's Blind Football World Championship which took place last year in Birmingham, England. You can watch highlights on Youtube. It is important to support this sport, as while all costs for traveling and accommodation are covered, for both women and men players, there is no salary or prize money. Hopefully, if the sport gets bigger and more popular, there will be.
