2025 Ballon d'Or Female Winners
Women's Ballon d'Or: Aitana Bonmatí. Scores a hat trick off the pitch with her third women's Ballon d'Or in a row! She has become the first woman to achieve this. The first women's Ballon d'Or was given in 2018, although the men's award was first awarded in 1956. A total of 7 awards have been given, due to no award in 2020 because of the pandemic. Barcelona players have won 5 of the 7 awards presented.
Women's club of the year: Arsenal win this award after winning the Women's Champions League for the second time and finishing second in the Women's Super League.
Women's Yahsin Trophy: Hannah Hampton. What a season for Hannah Hampton! Winning best goalkeeper in the world for the 2024/24 season, after making some amazing saves in England's journey to become Euro 2025 winners.
Women's Johan Cruyff Trophy: Sarina Wiegman, after making history leading England to a second consecutive Euros win. Wiegman became the first coach to win three consecutive Women's Euros and the first coach in history to reach five major international finals. She has a 70% win rate with England, beating every other manager who has coached at least 10 games of the women's or men's national team. She is also the only head coach to win European Championships with two different nations. A truly amazing manager.
Women's Kopa Trophy: Vicky López, making history as the first to receive the Women's Kopa Trophy. In the 2024/25 season, López made 37 appearances, scoring nine goals and becoming the third youngest goalscorer in the Champions League for Barcelona.
Women's Gerd Muller Trophy: Ewa Pajor, who scored 43 goals in 45 games in her first season playing for Barcelona. This was the first ever Gerd Müller Women's award and a big moment for her and Barcelona.
